Laman Express - a high class train in Vietnam
Laman Express offers a comfortable train journey experience with its newly renovated cars featuring a blend of modern and traditional styles.
There are 3 categories of tickets:
- Deluxe cabin: For 4 passengers with 4 berths including 2 lowers and 2 uppers.
- VIP cabin (or 1st class sleeper): For 2 passengers with 2 lowers while 2 uppers folded.
- Premium cabin: For 2 passengers with 2 lowers only.
With routes from Hanoi - Lao Cai - Hanoi on SP3/SP4 and Hanoi - Da Nang - Hanoi on SE19/SE20.
- Daily SP3 from Hanoi to Lao Cai, departure 22:00, arrival 05:55+1
- Daily SP4 from Lao Cai to Hanoi, departure 21:30, arrival 05:25+1
- Daily SE19 departure Hanoi at 19:50, Ninh Binh at 22:00, Dong Hoi at 06:15+1, Hue at 09:40+1, end at Da Nang at 12:30+1
- Daily SE20 departure Da Nang at 18:10, Hue at 20:35, Dong Hoi at 23:40, Ninh Binh at 08:55+1, end at Hanoi at 11:30+1

Convenient check in counter at Hanoi
At Hanoi, right at Hanoi train station, passengers enjoy a high-class check in counter with complimentary welcome drinks and comfortable waiting room.
Leading you to the cabin
At Hanoi, after check in and relax at waiting room, our staff will take you to your cabin by separate entrance.
Individual welcome letter
Welcome letter for each guest placed on the berth.
Complimentary welcome kit in the cabin
Complimentary welcome kit consisting of coke, mineral water, pastry, fruit, tea, coffee, tissue… ready in your cabin.
Complimentary light breakfast
The complimentary light breakfast will be provided. Only applied for long routes: Hanoi - Hue, Hanoi - Danang, Ninhbinh - Hue, Ninhbinh - Danang, Danang - Ninhbinh, Danang - Hanoi, Hue - Ninhbinh, Hue - Hanoi.
Free wifi on train
Free wifi on train. However, please note that the wifi on train is a mobile device which may not work well when the train travels throughout mountain or remote area.

When should come to train station to check in?
Please arrive to train station at least 30 minutes prior to departure time.

What procedure to check in?
Please show your boarding voucher on your mobile device and your passport.

Only Hanoi train station has the check in counter, what about other train stations?
At Lao Cai, please come to Terminus Restaurant, 342 Nguyen Hue street, Lao Cai City (in front of Lao Cai Train Station). At Da Nang Train Station, please come to the VIP Waiting Room. At Hue Train Station, please come to the VIP Waiting Room. At other train stations, our representative will guide you with check in.

Tickets include the pick up and/or drop transfer?
No. We do not include the pick up and/or drop off transfer. Please own arrange the transfer to/from the train station.

Can put luggage at Hanoi check in counter within a few hours?
Yes. Please come to Mango Hotel at 118 Le Duan street (right at Hanoi train station), show your boarding voucher and passport, our staff will check the booking correctly, then you can put your luggage overthere within a few hours. It's free of charge.

Can leave luggage at other train stations such as Ninh Binh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Da Nang, for a few hours?
Yes. However, the services are provided by Vietnam Railways, not by Laman Express. Please come to the train station and ask for leaving your luggage. Fees may be applied.

What are regulations of luggage weight and dimension?
Carry-on luggage allowance for each passenger: Weight should not exceed 20kg / 44lb, dimension should not exceed 80cm x 50cm x 40cm (0.16 m3). If your luggage exceeds the limit, surcharge may be applied.

Can wheelchairs be accommodated on the Laman Express Train?
Yes, Laman staff are available to assist, but please ensure the wheelchair is foldable and does not exceed a maximum width of 60 cm.
